Bensan is pleased to introduce the new Heat Detector Shroud, designed and engineered to protect detectors in tough environments where moisture, dust, or insects threaten performance and reliability. The silicone shroud provides IP54-rated protection and is now available for both Tyco Zeler and Protec 6000/Plus heat detectors.
Tested to IP54, the shroud protects detector terminals from humidity and corrosion, while also keeping out dust and insects to maintain reliable operation and reduce unnecessary maintenance callouts. The precision-fit silicone body creates a secure, snug seal between the detector and base, ensuring long-lasting protection across a wide range of installation environments.
Quick and easy to install, the shroud features orientation markings and cable entry glands to make setup straightforward. Compatible with all 850H, 850P, 850PH, and 850PC Zeler detectors using 4B bases, as well as Protec 6000/Plus addressable and 3000/Plus conventional detectors, the shroud is a versatile solution for specifiers and installers alike. Available in white, with black also available for Protec detectors.
